to hold onto thoughts
of feelings wrenched in gut
tight staring at screen of one's and none's
words dispensed into space
Unknown direction and tone
sitting alone in suspense
for the sound of reply
rings through music notes
creating its own symphony
eyes adjust and stare blankly
as words conspire and mold
into muddled syntax
questionable phrases cause
infinite gazes
to the left and to the right
meticulous matrix causes only fright
