US Blues sung by a new submitter. Thank you

A Poem with no Title by Arielle Ponder

Summer is gone, and so are you
I watch each man, with his suit and a plan,
each success story, passing by looking up and smiling at our blue sky
Never realizing the sorrow of the damned.
They don't know, about the need of the drink,
The poison that takes its eternal bite.
The fighting with the family, your children and your wife,
would never know, about how your first wife and child in a blink
where gone, and how every night
You would drown your sorrows in booze, to forget that life.

US Blues
